Boys Ages: 11-17 (Arrow of Light Recipients may join at 10)
Membership is open to all that meet the Joining Requirements and follow the rules and regulations of the Boy Scouts of America. See membership forms and www.scouting.org for further details or ask one of the Scoutmasters.
Grades: 1-5 can join the fellowship at Cub Scout Pack 151
This is a volunteer outreach program.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Boy Scouts decide what they want to do, they plan it, and they lead it. The adult leaders provide logistics support, training, and supervision. Together we all go out and have fun.
Boy Scout Outdoor Program includes:
Hiking, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Camping, Fishing, Cycling, Electronics, Electricity, Engineering, Citizenship (Community, Nation, & World), and Parades.
God and Country Programs (God and Church, God and Life)
Summer Camp: Swimming, Canoeing, Lifesaving, Small boat sailing, Archery, Rifle & Shotgun, First Aid, Safety, Physical Fitness, Crafts: Leatherwork, Metalwork, Sculpture, pottery, Art, Soil and Water Conservation, Nature, Mammal Study, Amphibian and Reptile Study, and more than we can list here...
Weekend Camping, Backpacking, Wilderness survival, Cold Weather.
Cooking: open fire, fueled stoves, solar, survival.

HOW WE ARE ORGANIZED
New Scouts will join Patrols of 8 Scouts which are lead by an elected Patrol Leader. Patrol Leaders lead outings, Scout Skills training and advancement. Younger Scouts are mentored and taught by older Scouts under the direction of a Patrol Leader.
HOW WE COMMUNICATE
The troop web calendar holds event dates.
Detailed Event fliers and are distributed prior to events.
Event details are planned and discussed at Troop Meetings.
Patrol Leaders call members to review details.
Email is used for quick dissemination of information.
Email is not appropriate for sensitive issues or concerns, instead use the phone or schedule a conference.
