Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 151

Welcome to the Troop 151 website!

We meet at the Faith United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Lake Park (Indian Trail) NC, Thursdays from 7:00-8:30PM

This program is for boys ages 11-17 (Arrow of Light Recipients may join at 10).

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes, by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
This Troop promotes challenging adventures through a boy-led program, where adults focus on developing youth leadership. Learn more at Scouting.org

Water water everywhere and not a cup to hold it...

  • Although the kitchen in the white building has a supply of cups and other dining related items, these are the church's inventory and not available to the troop.

Merit badge counselors needed!

Do you have a skill, hobby, occupation, or passion for something that you would like to share with our Boy Scouts?  Then consider becoming a Merit Badge Counselor with Troop 151, and offer those talents and experience to our scouts.  There are more than 135 merit badges, and any Boy Scout may earn any of these at any time.  Let our scouts benefit from your knowledge in a given field or fields.  You may teach more than one merit badge.  You may also share the responsibility of teaching with another adult.  For more information please contact the Merit Badge Coordinator, Brad Taylor (meritbadge@boyscouttroop151.com).  There is NO COST to becoming a merit badge counselor.
